Multi-Region for everyone

From the very beginning, we've strived to make Resend for everyone—not just for SF developers. Our philosophy page says, "Make it for everyone."

When we first launched multi-region support, free users were forced to use the US region, and all the other regions were limited to paid plans only.

Today, we're excited to expand our support to all users. Every Resend user can now send emails from the region that best fits their customers. The change not only better fits our philosophy but also allows us to serve you better.

We now support the following regions:

• North Virginia (us-east-1)
• Ireland (eu-west-1)
• São Paulo (sa-east-1)
• Tokyo (ap-northeast-1)

Autodetecting the closest region

When you add a domain, we automatically detect the closest region to you.

That means if you're in Europe, we'll recommend the Ireland region. If you're in Australia, we'll recommend the nearest region, which is Tokyo. And so on.

This is only a recommendation. You can still select any region we support.

How does this impact you?

If you're using your preferred region, nothing will change.

If you're on the free plan and would prefer a different region, you can change it to your preference.
